Laura-Jean Schwartau is a member of the Theatre Faculty at SUNY Plattsburgh, teaching classes concentrating in acting, voice and movement. She trained at Circle in the Square Theatre Program and at the University of Minnesota, attaining her B.F.A. L.J. has worked extensively in Minneapolis, MN including the Guthrie Theatre and the University's Showboat. In NYC, she. appeared in cabaret revues, off-Broadway productions as well as directed various productions (Soho Repertory and the Vortex Theatre). L.J. also has TV and independent films roles to her credit. She was a private acting coach in New York City and taught at colleges around the Metropolitan area. _x000D_ L.J. now lives in the Adirondacks. She is a long time Company member of Pendragon Theatre in Saranac Lake, Member of Actors Equity Association (A.E.A), S.A.G. & A.F.T.R
